Another 737MAX 8 jet crashes, 157 dead.

According to an aviation expert “Another one crashed in Adis Ababa on Sunday, killing 157 on board”. The government of Indonesia especially the Ministry need to put a serious attention toward the safety of Boeing’s new jet, the 737 MAX 8. The government also need to put an attention toward the crash that happen with ET302 from Addis Ababa to Nairobi in the neighboring country of Kenya. The accident was on the same type as the ill-fated Lion Air jetliner that crashed into the Java sea, killing all of the passengers and crew.

The Ethiopian airline said that people from 32 countries and the United Nations were onboard the plane. There are no survivors according to the group CEO who is at the accident scene. The National Transportation Safety Committee (KNKT) preliminary report suggested that the pilots of flight JT610 had struggled to operate antistall system prior to the accident. While the pilot of the Nairobi-bound Boeing 737 had also reportedly alerted controllers.

CEO Tewolde GebreMariam told journalist in the Ethiopian capital that the pilot “was given clearance” to return to Addis. However, the aircraft crashed just six minutes after takeoff. Boeing deliver its deeply saddened about the death of all 157 people as well as analyzing and providing the technical assistance to find out the reason why the aircraft which was delivered last year, crashed.

The operation of aircraft in Indonesia still use and operate 737 MAX series aircraft including Lion air, which current operation are using 10MAX 8 and two MAX 9 airplanes. However, Polana B. Pramesti as the Transportation Ministry’s air transportation director General was not available for comment and give a respond on Sunday.
