The Young Professionals Group (YPG) of the British Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia was founded in July 2011 with the objective to engage under 40’s professionals in Indonesia, particularly from Indonesian alumni of British educational institutions. So, this has now become a forum at which younger professionals who represent future leaders in business and public life come together to exchange views on subjects of common interest. The Group continues to support the trade and investment between Indonesia and the UK in many ways and possibilities.
On the education sector, the group encourages as many Indonesian students to pursue their studies at British Universities as the UK has established quality in education for decades.
The YPG is led by a committee of four with collective experience that covers agriculture, construction, banking & finance, oil and gas, and legal and public policies, among others.
