On the 19th and 22nd of July 2017, BritCham launched its 27sqm GREAT Pavilion in Manufacturing Surabaya at Grand City Convention and Exhibition Center, Surabaya. This is the first of seven exhibitions that we will be out during the next seven months.
There are 4 UK SMEs exhibiting within our Pavilion on those days; Maybey Bridge, Renold Transmission Ltd, BRE Global and Precisions 21.
During one of those days, our Executive Director – Chris Wren has met The Chairman of KADIN Surabaya and Senior Executive of Maspion Groups – one of the most largest manufacturing and most respected electronics brands in Indonesia. Within their discussion, both parties agreed that some companies in Indonesia prepared to pay a premium British goods, for the efficiency of their expenses.
