BritCham has developed a reputation for being a timely and reliable source of topical business, political, security, regional and global information for its membership. In 2008, we held over 110 ‘events’. Our intention is provide regular options for routine briefings, business and social gatherings, executive lunches and dinners. When appropriate, we team up with other trade groups and associations to provide the broadest range of interesting speakers possible. Speakers are invariably drawn from the Indonesian Cabinet and Government, International Financial Institutions, Universities, local political advisers, British media representatives and the local business community, as well as Royalty, visiting business leaders and Ministers / politicians from the United Kingdom and elsewhere. For 10 years, BritCham has supported the weekly ‘Networker’s’ group which meets in an informal atmosphere to expand their range of contacts, exchange information, and share experiences and opportunities in their own business sectors. It also serves as an excellent means of reaching out to the broader business community and attracting new members.
